Hamasana Hamamelis Ointment is a skin care product that was specially developed for cracked, brittle and dry skin.It is also suitable for soothing reddened skin and is rich in natural ingredients from the leaves and bark of the Virginia witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana).

Virginian witch hazel, also known as Hamamelis virginiana, was traditionally used by North American Indians to treat burns, boils, and various injuries.Witch hazel has also been used in North America and Europe since the 19th century.Today, witch hazel is primarily used for skin care and skin protection, especially for dry and cracked skin.The ointment prevents the skin from drying out and keeps it supple.It also has a calming effect on irritated and slightly reddened skin.

Application

The ointment should be applied thinly to the affected skin areas several times a day as needed until the skin becomes supple again.

Notes

Once the tube is opened, the ointment will last until the expiry date printed on it.The ointment contains paraffin-like substances, which can potentially damage condoms.

Ingredients

The Hamasana Hamamelis ointment contains the following ingredients: white petroleum jelly, distillate of witch hazel extract (Virginian magic shrub), wool wax, wool wax alcohol ointment, water, thick paraffin, BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) and α-tocopherol.100 g of ointment contains 20 g of distilled ethanolic extract from witch hazel leaves and bark (4:1).
