Every Mepilex wound dressing is equipped with Safetac technology.This original contact layer with silicone adhesion ensures that changing dressings is less painful.The dressing is easy to remove and reposition, leaves no residue in the wound and is extremely soft and conformable.The good cushioning effect protects against further lesions.

Areas of application of Mepilex

Mepilex is intended for a wide range of weakly to moderately exuding wounds.The bandage can be easily cut to fit specific wounds or difficult-to-dress areas of the body.Mepilex is particularly suitable for the treatment of chronic wounds such as pressure ulcers and diabetic wounds.

Application of Mepilex

The wound should always be cleaned before applying the bandage.Mepilex should cover the dry skin surrounding the wound by at least 1-2 cm for smaller sizes and 3-5 cm for larger sizes.Tubifast can be used to secure the bandage.
