Instructions for use for Dexpanthenol axicur® wound and healing cream, 20 g
Dexpanthenol axicur® wound and healing cream
Dexpanthenol axicur® wound and healing cream supports wound healing in superficial skin injuries. The cream is ideal for abrasions, cuts, cracked skin or minor burns. It promotes the regeneration of skin cells and can also be used for mucous membrane lesions. The cream is suitable for adults, teenagers and children.
The active ingredient dexpanthenol, also known as provitamin B5, is converted into vitamin B5 in human cells. This stimulates the regeneration of damaged tissue. When used locally, dexpanthenol compensates for the increased need for pantothenic acid in damaged skin or mucous membranes. This helps new skin cells form and allows small cuts and injuries to heal more quickly.Due to these properties, dexpanthenol is also known as a “skin vitamin”.
Areas of application
Dexpanthenol axicur® wound and healing cream is used for superficial skin injuries and cracked skin.Skin injuries often occur due to heat, mechanical stress or sharp objects. The cream supports the healing process by promoting the regeneration of the affected skin cells. It can also be used for mucous membrane lesions and in children.
For superficial skin injuries such as abrasions or minor burns, optimal treatment is crucial.Disinfecting the affected area is essential to avoid inflammation. As soon as a crust has formed on the wound, Dexpanthenol axicur® can support wound healing and relieve the associated itching.
During the cold season, the skin is particularly stressed by dry air in heated rooms and frequent blowing of the nose. This can lead to dry and cracked skin.Dexpanthenol axicur® supports the healing process in such cases.
Frequent hand washing and the use of disinfectants, especially during the corona pandemic, can dry out the skin and make it cracked. The active ingredient dexpanthenol promotes wound healing and supports the regeneration of stressed skin.
