Betaisodona Advanced Wound and Healing Gel is a special product for wound healing that promotes skin regeneration and accelerates the healing process. It consists of a hydrogel with liposomes and 3% povidone-iodine. The liposomes contain phospholipids that have similar properties to skin cells and can repair damaged cell membranes. The hydrogel base provides a moist environment that supports wound healing and removes dead tissue. The gel also improves the flexibility, elasticity and appearance of the skin. Betaisodona Advanced Wound and Healing Gel can be used to treat acute and chronic wounds. Acute wounds include non-infected graft wounds, abrasions, blisters, burns and skin conditions such as acne vulgaris, atopic dermatitis, impetigo contagiosa and rosacea. Chronic wounds include venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and leg ulcers. The gel is applied by applying a layer about 2 mm thick directly to the wound or to the dressing. The wound can be covered with a paraffin gauze and a wound dressing. Betaisodona Advanced Wound and Healing Gel contains carbomer, hydrogenated (3-sn-phosphatidyl)choline (soy), sodium hydroxide, citric acid, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium iodate, povidone-iodine and purified water as ingredients. The gel should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to the ingredients. During pregnancy and lactation, as well as in newborns and infants under 6 months of age, the gel should only be used under a doctor's instructions and with caution. There are some precautions to be observed, such as avoiding contact with mucous membranes and eyes, monitoring thyroid function during prolonged use on large areas of skin, exercising caution in patients with thyroid disease or renal insufficiency, and avoiding use on infected wounds.
