Gastrovegetalin solution is a herbal medicine that is used for functional gastrointestinal complaints.The active ingredient is lemon balm leaf thick extract.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

The lemon balm contained in gastrovegetalin solution protects the stomach and intestines from nervous overstimulation.It calms the autonomic nervous system in the area of the digestive tract, normalizes digestion and has a calming and antispasmodic effect.The essential oils of lemon balm relieve nervousness and tension, relieve cramps and flatulence.They promote the formation of saliva and digestive juices and have an appetite and digestive effect.Rosmarinic acid inhibits the growth of viruses.

Areas of application

Gastrovegetalin solution is used for functional gastrointestinal complaints.These complaints are often referred to as “irritable stomach” or “irritable bowel syndrome”.

Composition

100 g (corresponding to 94 ml) of liquid contains 10 g thick extract of lemon balm leaves (2.3-3.0:1), extractant: water.The other ingredients are fructose, maltitol solution, propylene glycol, povidone (K 30) and purified water.Gastrovegetalin solution does not contain gluten or lactose.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over should take 6 ml of the solution three times a day.It can be taken before or with meals.Please take Gastrovegetalin solution using the enclosed dosing cup and with a little liquid.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Contraindications

Gastrovegetalin solution must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to lemon balm leaf thick extract or any of the other ingredients.Children under 12 years of age should generally not use the medicine.According to current knowledge, the medicine should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

So far there are no known side effects.Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any side effects.

Storage

Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton and label.After opening the bottle, the shelf life is 6 months.The medicine should be stored at room temperature.

Notes

Gastrovegetalin solution contains fructose and maltitol solution.If you know that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, only take this medicine after consulting your doctor.If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 weeks, you should see a doctor.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.
