Myrrhinil-Intest coated tablets are a traditional herbal medicine for the supportive treatment of gastrointestinal disorders.These can manifest themselves as non-specific diarrhea, mild cramps and flatulence.The product is registered for these purposes due to many years of use.No prescription is required for this product.

Ingredients

The coated tablets contain the active ingredients myrrh, coffee charcoal and chamomile flower dry extract.Myrrh has an antispasmodic, pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory effect and promotes wound healing.Coffee charcoal has an anti-inflammatory, astringent effect and can bind harmful substances.Chamomile has anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, antispasmodic and flatulence-relieving effects.

The other ingredients include yellow wax, calcium carbonate, carnauba wax, cellulose powder, iron oxides and hydroxides, spray-dried glucose syrup, cocoa butter, macrogol 6000, povidone K-90, shellac, colloidal silica, stearic acid, sucrose, talc and titanium dioxide.

Mode of action

The combination of myrrh, chamomile and coffee charcoal works at different points in the gastrointestinal tract.They reinforce each other's effects and offer an anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and antibacterial effect.The natural intestinal flora is not damaged, which enables long-term use.

Dosage and application

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take four coated tablets three times a day.The tablets should be taken whole and with sufficient liquid before meals.The duration of use is not limited.If you forget to take the dose, the next dose should be taken as usual without doubling the dose.

Contraindications

Myrrhinil-Intest should not be taken if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, especially chamomile and other daisy plants.The product should also not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding as there are no sufficient studies available.Coffee charcoal may interfere with the absorption of other medications.

Side effects

Notes

Particular caution is required when used in children under 12 years of age as there are no clinical studies in patients in this age group.The medicine contains glucose and sucrose, which should be taken into account if you have intolerance to certain sugars.If symptoms of illness persist for more than two days or if side effects other than those mentioned in the package leaflet occur, a doctor should be consulted.
