Application instructions

Apply the Linola sept Antiseptic Skin Cream twice a day to the affected skin areas and rub the cream lightly.Be careful not to apply the cream to mucous membranes or conjunctiva.Use should be continued until symptoms resolve.If symptoms recur after treatment has been completed, please contact your doctor.

The Linola sept antiseptic skin cream contains the active ingredient clioquinol.100g cream contains 0.5g clioquinol.The other ingredients are carbomer 980, decyl oleate, unsaturated fatty acids (C18), glycerol monostearate, macrogol stearyl ether (3), methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sodium ethyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, stearic acid, trometamol, bleached wax and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, this product should not be used.The medicine is not suitable for use on the conjunctiva of the eye.Pregnant and breastfeeding women are not allowed to use the cream.In infants and small children under 2 years of age, the medicine may only be used after consulting a doctor or under medical supervision.

Dosage

Children aged 2 and over, teenagers and adults should apply a sufficient amount of the cream to the affected skin areas twice a day, regardless of the time of day.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Patient information

In patients with thyroid disorders, plasma iodine levels should be monitored during long-term use.If clothing lies directly on the areas of skin that have been applied with cream, yellow discoloration may occur.It is therefore advisable to cover the treated skin areas with gauze.The skin cream may only be used on infants and small children after consulting a doctor and following his instructions.
