Instructions for use for LipoAerosol liposomal inhalation solution

LipoAerosol® is a medical product that is used to moisten the upper and lower respiratory tract and supports the natural moisture film in cases of irritation of the mucous membranes and acute or chronic diseases of the respiratory tract.It is also suitable as a throat and throat spray for hoarseness and voice disorders caused by infections, strong vocal strain or environmental stimuli.The product does not contain any preservatives to ensure the best possible compatibility.No prescription is required for this product.

Application and dosage

LipoAerosol® can be used as an inhalation solution or throat spray.The frequency of use depends on need or medical recommendations.In general, use 2 to 4 times daily is recommended, using approximately 2 to 3 ml per inhalation.The product is ready for use and should not be mixed with other medications or inhalation solutions.

A suitable nebulizer should be used for inhalation.LipoAerosol® can be used with compressor-operated jet nebulizers or ultrasonic nebulizers.The inhalation time may vary depending on the device type.As a throat spray, 1 to 3 sprays should be sprayed directly into the throat and throat several times a day as needed with the mouth wide open.The bottle should be held vertically and the spray head pressed down completely to generate the aerosol.

Ingredients

The ingredients of LipoAerosol® include soy lecithin, sodium chloride, ethanol and water for injections.The soy lecithin contained consists of highly pure phospholipids and is free of proteins.It meets the quality standard for parenteral use.

Side effects and contraindications

In individual cases, temporary irritation or reversible narrowing of the bronchi may occur, especially in patients with a hyperreactive bronchial system.In this case, inhalation should be stopped immediately and a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist.LipoAerosol® should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.In patients who have already experienced shortness of breath or bronchial constriction due to wet inhalation, the product should only be used after consulting the treating doctor.

When used as intended, there are no age restrictions and no restrictions on use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.If you have a severe sore throat with a high fever or persistent hoarseness for more than three weeks, you should see a doctor.The spray head can be replaced for targeted application.

Appearance and storage

LipoAerosol® is an opalescent liquid with a milky appearance and a characteristic, natural smell of lecithin.During storage, brownish cloudiness or deposits may occur, but these do not affect effectiveness or tolerability.The product should be stored in a cool, dry place away from light and out of the reach of children.After first use it can be used for 6 months.It should no longer be used after the expiry date.
