Instructions for use of the article LipoAerosol Liposomal inhalation solution: - Product characteristics: - LipoAerosol® is used to moisten the upper and lower respiratory tract and to support the natural moisture film in cases of irritation of the mucous membranes and acute or chronic diseases of the respiratory tract. - As a throat spray, LipoAerosol® relieves hoarseness and voice disorders caused by upper respiratory tract infections, severe vocal stress and environmental stimuli. - It does not contain any preservatives. - Dosage, method and duration of use: - For inhalation, it is recommended to use 2 to 4 times a day with approx. 2 to 3 ml per inhalation. - LipoAerosol® should not be mixed with other inhalation solutions or medicines. - It can be used with compressor-operated jet nebulisers or ultrasonic nebulisers. - As a throat spray, 1 to 3 sprays are applied directly into the throat and pharynx several times a day. - Inhalative applications with LipoAerosol® are recommended for cough or congestion of the respiratory tract as well as hoarseness. - Possible side effects are temporary irritation or reversible constriction of the bronchial tubes with acute shortness of breath. - LipoAerosol® should not be used in case of respiratory distress or hypersensitivity without medical advice. - It should not be used in case of already experienced shortness of breath and/or constriction of the bronchial tubes due to moist inhalation or in case of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients. - There are no age or use restrictions for intended use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. - In case of severe sore throat with high fever or persistent hoarseness for more than three weeks, a doctor should be consulted. - Composition: - Soya lecithin, sodium chloride, ethanol, water for injection. - Shelf life and storage: - Store in a cool, dry place away from light. - LipoAerosol® can be used for 6 months after first use. - Manufacturer: OPTIMA Pharmazeutische GmbH, Ludwigstraße 49, 85399 Hallbergmoos, Germany
