Information for use of the article LoranoPro 5 mg Film-coated tablets: - LoranoPro (active ingredient: desloratadine) is used to improve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria in adults & adolescents aged 12 years and over. - It relieves allergic reactions such as runny or stuffy nose, itchy burning eyes, hives with wheals and itching of the skin. - LoranoPro is an antihistamine that works quickly and strongly. - It does not make you sleepy and is well tolerated. - The recommended dosage is 1 tablet daily, regardless of meals. - The duration of use is determined by the treating doctor. - There are some contraindications, e.g. hypersensitivity to the ingredients and impaired kidney function. - Possible side effects are dry mouth, headache and tiredness. - The composition of the film-coated tablet includes desloratadine (5 mg) and various excipients. - Desloratadine blocks the histamine receptors and reduces the effect of histamine. - Before use, possible interactions with other medicines should be checked. - LoranoPro is manufactured by Hexal AG and is available in different pack sizes.
