Areas of application

Lorano®Pro is a medicine to improve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.It has a quick and long-lasting effect against symptoms of the nose, eyes and skin.Allergic rhinitis manifests itself as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy palate and itchy, red or watery eyes.Urticaria, also known as hives, is characterized by the formation of wheals that are surrounded by redness and are often itchy.

Active ingredient

The active ingredient in Lorano®Pro is desloratadine, a modern generation antihistamine.It blocks histamine receptors and therefore reduces the effects of histamine, which is released during allergic reactions.Desloratadine is a further development of loratadine and does not make you drowsy compared to older antihistamines.It works for over 24 hours due to its long half-life.

Ingredients

The ingredients of Lorano®Pro for Allergy - For all hay fever symptoms are: 5 mg desloratadine, microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, indigo carmine aluminum salt, macrogol 400, corn starch, hydrogenated vegetable oil, highly dispersed silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide.

Application instructions

The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 1 film-coated tablet once daily.The film-coated tablet is taken with water, this can be done regardless of meals.The tablet should be swallowed whole (unchewed).

Contraindications

Lorano®Pro should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to individual ingredients.

Patient information

It is recommended that you avoid activities that require mental alertness, such as driving or operating machinery, until your personal response to Lorano®Pro has been established.If you take the recommended dosage, Lorano®Pro is not expected to affect your ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

Taking Lorano®Pro is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
