LoranoPro 5 mg film-coated tablets are an over-the-counter antihistamine containing the active substance desloratadine. It is used to improve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. Desloratadine works by blocking the effect of the body's own neurotransmitter histamine, which is released during allergic reactions. This relieves allergic symptoms such as runny or stuffy nose, itchy eyes and hives. The medicine LoranoPro is manufactured by Hexal AG and is well tolerated. It does not make you sleepy and works quickly (after about 30-60 minutes). The recommended dosage is one film-coated tablet daily, regardless of meals.
