Ibuprofen HEUMANN painkillers are a proven remedy for relieving mild to moderate pain and reducing fever.The active ingredient ibuprofen helps with headaches, toothaches and period pain.The tablets are gluten-free, easily divisible and suitable for children aged 6 and over.They are ideal for the first aid kit.

Application

The recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over (from 40 kg): Single dose: ½ - 1 film-coated tablet (corresponding to 200 - 400 mg ibuprofen);Maximum daily dose: 3 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 1200 mg ibuprofen).

Children aged 10-11 years (approx. 30-39 kg): Single dose: ½ film-coated tablet (equivalent to 200 mg ibuprofen);Maximum daily dose: 2 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 800 mg ibuprofen).

Children aged 6-9 years (approx. 20-29 kg): Single dose: ½ film-coated tablet (equivalent to 200 mg ibuprofen);Maximum daily dose: 1½ film-coated tablets (equivalent to 600 mg ibuprofen).

Wait at least 6 hours between doses.Take the film-coated tablets whole with plenty of liquid during or after a meal.The tablets can be divided into equal doses.If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take it with meals.

The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration.In adults, medical advice should be sought if use is necessary for longer than 3 days for fever or 4 days for pain.In children and adolescents, medical advice should be sought if use is required for longer than 3 days or if symptoms worsen.

Effect

Ibuprofen HEUMANN painkillers have analgesic, anti-inflammatory and fever-reducing effects.The active ingredient ibuprofen inhibits the formation of prostaglandins, which cause pain, fever and inflammation in the body.As a result, the tablets relieve pain, reduce inflammation and reduce fever.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: 1 film-coated tablet contains 400 mg ibuprofen.

Other ingredients: highly disperse silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, pre-gelatinized starch (corn starch), carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A) (Ph. Eur.), talc, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [pflanzlich], hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), lactose monohydrate, macrogol (4000), sodium citrate (Ph. Eur.).
