Dosage

Recommended use of Thomapyrin® TENSION DUO headache tablets: For adults: Initial dose: Take 1 film-coated tablet (400 mg ibuprofen and 100 mg caffeine).If necessary, take another dose (one film-coated tablet), but you must not exceed a total dose of 3 film-coated tablets (1,200 mg ibuprofen and 300 mg caffeine) within 24 hours.Take the film-coated tablets whole with a glass of water.The time interval between two doses must be at least 6 hours.If you feel that the effect of this medicine is stronger or weaker than expected, contact your doctor or pharmacy.The duration of treatment should be a maximum of 3 days.

To be taken.Take the film-coated tablets whole with a glass of water.It is recommended that patients with sensitive stomachs take the medicine with meals.

Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any of the following: bright red stools, black tarry stools, vomiting blood or particles that look like coffee grounds, severe upper abdominal pain.While taking it, you should avoid excessive intake of products containing caffeine.Side effects can be minimized by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible period of time.Older patients are at increased risk of side effects.Concomitant use with NSAIDs, including selective cyclooxygenase 2 inhibitors, increases the risk of adverse effects and should be avoided.Anti-inflammatory/pain-relieving medicines such as ibuprofen may slightly increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke, especially when used in high doses.Do not exceed the recommended dose or treatment duration (3 days).Using any type of painkiller for a headache over a long period of time can make it worse.If this situation exists or is suspected, you should seek medical advice and stop treatment.Children and adolescents: the medicine must not be used by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Ability to drive and use machines: With short-term use and normal doses, this medicine has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.People who still experience side effects such as dizziness, tiredness or visual disturbances must not drive or operate machines.This is especially true when combined with alcohol.
