Prontosan® Wound Irrigation Solution is a sterile, ready-to-use solution specifically designed for cleaning, rinsing and moisturizing acute, chronic and infected skin wounds as well as 1st and 2nd degree burns.No prescription is required for this product.

Properties

The wound irrigation solution has numerous beneficial properties.It effectively dissolves wound deposits such as necrosis, fibrin and biofilm.It is also ideal for intraoperative cleaning and irrigation of wounds.It can also be used in combination with the V.A.C.Ulta can be used for instillation.Another advantage is that it loosens encrusted wound dressings and bandages before they are removed.The solution prevents the formation of biofilm and creates an environment that promotes healing.It is suitable for repeated and long-term use and remains effective for up to 8 weeks after opening.
