Directions for use for SERASEPT 2: - SERASEPT 2 is an antiseptic solution used for the adjuvant antiseptic treatment of wounds, especially after surgical debridement. - This sterile solution contains 0.04% polihexanide and is equivalent to a Ringer's solution DAB 7. - Before using SERASEPT 2, certain precautions should be observed, such as avoiding use around cartilage and joints and in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients. - During pregnancy and lactation, SERASEPT 2 must not be used as its safety has not been established. - It should only be used in children and infants if there is a compelling indication and under medical supervision. - 6] 2 is SERASEPT used by a doctor or healthcare professional and the dosage is based on the type and severity of the condition. - The solution is applied to the wound surface with SERASEPT soaked compresses and the dressing is renewed once daily. - Possible side effects of SERASEPT 2 include rare hypersensitivity reactions such as urticaria and exanthema. - SERASEPT 2 should be stored at room temperature and kept away from children. - The manufacturer of SERASEPT 2 is SERAG-WIESSNER GmbH & Co.KG.
