Instructions for use for SERASEPT 2 Solution, 10X250 ml

SERASEPT 2 is an antiseptic solution for the treatment of wounds. It contains the active substance polihexanide in a concentration of 0.04%. SERASEPT 2 is used by a doctor or healthcare professional. The solution is applied to the wound surface and the wound dressing is renewed once a day. The duration of treatment depends on the condition of the wound and may be continued until complete wound closure. [2 should not be used in SERASEPT cases of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients and in the area of cartilage and joints. Special precautions apply during pregnancy and lactation as well as in children and infants. Interactions with other medicinal products are not known. Possible side effects include hypersensitivity reactions. SERASEPT 2 should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be stored below 15°C.
