Multilind Healing Ointment with Nystatin is used for the treatment of inflamed skin and mucous membranes, as well as for soreness caused by mechanical irritation (skin worming) and red, itchy and burning foci in the folds of the body. The main active ingredient is nystatin, which prevents and treats infections of the skin with yeast fungi. In addition, the ointment contains zinc oxide, which is effective for inflammatory and weeping skin lesions. The ointment is applied to the affected skin areas once or several times a day and the treatment should be continued for a few days after complete healing. The ointment must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Possible side effects are skin rash and itching. The ointment should be kept at room temperature and out of the reach of children. The shelf life is 12 months after the first opening of the tube.
