Multilind Healing Ointment with Nystatin is an ointment for use on the skin. It is used for skin inflammations and mucous membrane inflammations, soreness caused by friction, as well as red, itchy and burning foci in the folds of the body, e.g. nappy dermatitis. The ointment contains the active ingredients nystatin and zinc oxide, which have an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect and protect against skin infections caused by yeast fungi. It is applied to the affected areas of the skin once or several times a day. The treatment should be continued for a few days after the skin has completely healed. Possible side effects are hypersensitivity reactions of the skin such as rash and itching. Multilind Healing Ointment is suitable for the whole family and is particularly recommended for babies and small children as well as those in need of care. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist. The ointment may be used for 12 months after opening and should be stored at room temperature. Sensitive skin can be protected by good hygiene, sufficient fluid intake and clothing that is gentle on the skin.
