Application

Unless otherwise prescribed, the hydrogen peroxide 3% solution should be diluted 5 to 10 times before use, about 1 to 2 tablespoons in a glass of water.It is important not to use the solution in closed body cavities to avoid the risk of gas embolism.

Hydrogen peroxide 3% Caelo: Serves, among other things, in diluted form as an antiseptic for cleaning small wounds and for rinsing in the case of inflammation of the oral mucosa

The hydrogen peroxide 3% solution is used as an antiseptic for rinsing and wound cleaning.It is stabilized with phosphoric acid 10% (DAB).

Ingredients

Active ingredient per 1 g solution: 1 g hydrogen peroxide solution 3%.Other ingredients: phosphoric acid, purified water.

Areas of application

The solution is used to clean wounds, to disinfect the mouth for bad breath, to rinse for bleeding gums and inflammation of the oral mucosa.

Contraindications

In the very rare, genetically caused catalase deficiency (acatalasemia), the effect of hydrogen peroxide solution 3% is reduced.There are no sufficient studies available for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.Therefore, the solution must not be used by these groups of people.

Notes

The hydrogen peroxide solution 3% is stabilized with phosphoric acid 10% (AB.) and bleaches textiles.It should not be stored above 25°C and should be kept out of the reach of children.No prescription is required for this product.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
