The throat lozenges contain extracts from primrose root and are available in a tall container with a pop cap.They are particularly practical because they are easy to use and contain herbal extracts that can have a supportive effect.

Mode of action

When sucked, Ipalat® sugar-free throat lozenges form a pleasant film in the throat and thus soothe the throat and pharynx.Menthol has a cooling effect and freshens breath.The tooth-friendly composition means they can be sucked slowly.

The ingredients of Ipalat® throat lozenges sugar-free include sweeteners such as maltitol, sodium saccharin and neohesperidin DC, as well as the stabilizer gum arabic.Other ingredients include menthol (0.3%), primrose root extract (0.18%), bitter fennel aroma, star anise aroma, honey aroma, medium-chain triglycerides and the anti-caking agent beeswax (white).

The nutritional values per 100 g are: energy 786 kJ / 186 kcal, fat < 0.3 g, of which saturated fatty acids < 0.1 g, carbohydrates 31.0 g, of which sugar < 0.1 g, fiber 39.86 g, protein 1.02 g and salt 0.01 g.The calorific value of one lozenge is 1.8 kcal.

Application and dosage

Depending on the severity of the symptoms, 3 to 12 lozenges of Ipalat® sugar-free throat lozenges can be sucked slowly throughout the day.These throat lozenges are suitable for children as long as the parent believes the child can suck a lozenge to avoid choking.

Notes

Ipalat® sugar-free throat lozenges contain sweeteners and can have a laxative effect if consumed in excess.The calorific value of one lozenge is 1.8 kcal.

These throat lozenges are suitable for diabetics.One lozenge corresponds to 0.03 bread units (BE).If you are hypersensitive to one or more ingredients, consumption is not recommended.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, this product should not be used.
