Bepanthen Scar Gel is a silicone gel for the therapy of fresh and older scars. It helps prevent red and raised scars and can help existing scars become flatter and softer. The gel contains no preservatives or perfume. It works through a 3-fold principle of action: silicone forms a protective film, dexpanthenol moisturises and the massage roller promotes the breakdown of collagen fibres. The scar gel should be applied twice a day for at least two months. It is suitable for adults and children. The wound should be completely closed before application. The massage roller can be used on existing scars. In case of skin reactions or pain, the treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted if necessary. The gel must not get into the eyes or on open wounds or mucous membranes. The ingredients of Bepanthen Scar Gel are dimethicone, dimethicone crosspolymer, dexpanthenol, dimethiconol, bis-isobutyl PEG/PPG 10/7 dimethicone copolymer, pentylene glycol, purified water, tetrasodium glutamate diacetate and citric acid.
