Cutimed Siltec Plus is a highly absorbent foam dressing specifically developed for the effective treatment of chronic wounds with mild to moderate levels of exudate.The bandage has a silicone film that provides stronger initial adhesion, allowing for easy and reliable application.This makes it particularly suitable for wounds that are difficult to access.The silicone film also protects newly formed tissue and prevents the bandage from sticking to the exuding wound.The special Cutimed Siltec foam structure with superabsorber technology ensures quick and reliable exudate management.Cutimed Siltec Plus consists of a polyurethane foam with a highly adhesive silicone film and is latex-free.

The “third hand effect” makes it easier to apply the bandage, especially on wounds that are difficult to access.The dressing offers a secure closure of exudate, even under compression, and enables atraumatic and painless dressing changes.

Areas of application

Cutimed Siltec Plus is suitable for to moderately exuding wounds as well as for chronic wounds such as leg ulcers of various origins, diabetic ulcers and decubitus ulcers.The dressing can also be used for secondary healing wounds of various origins, such as postoperative wound healing disorders or skin transplants.

Change of dressing

The dressing can remain on the wound for up to seven days depending on the wound condition and exudation.
