Instructions for use of the article DracoFoam Infection Heel: This sterile foam wound dressing is ideal for infected wounds on the heel or elbow and helps to provide silver-free infection control for chronic and acute wounds. The 3D shape allows for precise application even on more difficult body parts. DracoFoam Infection Heel prevents sticking to the wound, absorbs microorganisms and counteracts their spread. The dressing has a high exudate absorption and evaporation rate, promotes granulation and is patient tolerant. It can be used for critically colonised or infected wounds, superficial wounds, heel decubitus ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers. It can also be left on the wound during various medical examinations and is suitable for compression therapy. It can be worn for up to 7 days.
