Remend Lubrigel is a nourishing tear substitute for cats, dogs and horses that can be used if the surface of the eye is dry.The product helps keep the eye moist and reduces the risk of further eye irritation due to drying out.Remend Lubrigel contains no preservatives and has a film-forming and moisturizing effect thanks to the Hyasent-S it contains.

Areas of application

Dogs, cats and horses can suffer from dryness of the surface of the eyes due to various causes, for example through photophobia or eye irritation.Remend Lubrigel is used to moisten the cornea and can relieve corneal hypersensitivity.It is particularly suitable for breed-related, chronic inflammation of the eyes as well as acute illnesses.

Mode of action

Remend Lubrigel contains a high-quality, modified form of hyaluronic acid (Hyasent-S), which lies on the cornea like a protective framework and increases the ability of the eyelid to glide over the cornea.A nourishing, long-lasting film is formed on the surface of the eye, which helps keep the eye moist and reduces the risk of further eye irritation due to drying out.

Remend Lubrigel consists of the following ingredients: water, 0.4% Hyasent-S (cross-linked hyaluronic acid), 0.8% sodium chloride, 0.14% disodium phosphate, 0.02% potassium chloride, 0.03% potassium phosphate.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Remend Lubrigel should be used twice daily with 1-2 drops per eye.Use gloves to ensure clean application.With one hand, lift the animal's head so that the eyes look up.Drop the gel directly into the eye onto the cornea.When you blink, the gel spreads over the entire surface of the eye.To avoid contamination, the tip of the container should not come into contact with the cornea or other surfaces.

Patient information

If other eye preparations are used at the same time, an interval of at least 10 minutes should be maintained between the two applications.Eye ointments should always only be used after applying eye drops or gel.

Notes

Remend Lubrigel is sterile until opened and can be used for at least 30 days after first opening if used correctly.It should be stored at room temperature away from heat sources and should not be frozen.If stored in the refrigerator, the gel should be warmed to room temperature before use.No prescription is required for this product.
