Directions for use of the article Avitale L-Lysine 750 mg Tablets Avitale L-Lysine 750 mg Tablets are a food supplement containing L-lysine. L-lysine was discovered in 1889 by the chemist Edmund Drechsel and is obtained from the milk protein casein. It is one of the essential amino acids that the body cannot produce itself and must therefore be taken in with food. Cereals and vegetables usually contain little L-lysine, while fish, pork and beef, egg and dairy products are rich in lysine. Avitale L-lysine tablets are ideal for ensuring an adequate supply of this amino acid. They contain L-lysine monohydrochloride as well as other ingredients such as microcrystalline cellulose and separating agents. One tablet contains 750 mg L-lysine and the recommended daily dose is 4 tablets, i.e. a total of 3000 mg L-lysine. The recommended intake for Avitale L-lysine tablets is 2 tablets twice a day, taken unchewed with plenty of water at mealtimes. Pregnant women, children as well as Parkinson's patients and patients with chronic kidney weakness should not use the preparation and should consult their doctor before taking it.
