Directions for use of the article Neo-Angin Junior Sore Throat Juice: Neo-Angin Junior Sore Throat Juice has been specially developed for children to avoid the risk of swallowing lozenges. Due to its convenient form, it is ideal to take before going to bed. The tasty and fruity flavour is very popular with children. The sore throat juice forms a special protective film on the irritated mucous membrane in the mouth and throat, soothing it and warding off further irritation. This allows the mucous membrane to recover more quickly. The juice is used for irritations of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat, for example in the case of colds or sore throats. The juice contains Iceland moss extract, mallow flower extract, zinc gluconate, potassium sorbate, cough herb flavour, cherry flavour and maltitol solution. The product is alcohol- and sugar-free and free from artificial colourings, lactose and gluten. The dosage is 5 ml 1 to 2 times a day for children from 1 year of age and 10 ml 2 times a day for children and adolescents between 6 and 16 years of age. If symptoms persist for more than 2-3 days, a doctor should be consulted. In case of known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, sore throat juice should not be used. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it should only be used after consulting a doctor or pharmacist. An overdose is harmless and requires no countermeasures. The juice contains maltitol, so diabetics should observe the BE-quantity. The sore throat juice should be stored dry and not above 25°C, out of the reach of children.
