Instructions for use of the article Vliwasorb Pro Superabsorbent Comp. sterile 12.5 x 12.5 cm: The Vliwasorb Pro Superabsorbent Compress is sterile and individually packed. It measures 12.5 x 12.5 cm, with the wound pad measuring 8.5 x 8.5 cm. The dressing can be used on moderately to very exuding wounds, including superficial wounds such as pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers and post-operative or post-traumatic wounds. It is also suitable for split-thickness skin removal sites, oncological wounds, exulcerating tumours and wounds at risk of infection. In addition, it can be used for superficial 2nd degree burns and as a secondary dressing for laparotomy wounds and fistulas. The dressing is characterised by a high absorption and binding capacity of wound exudate, enables effective exudate management even under compression and offers atraumatic dressing changes due to its flexible wound contact layer.
