Instructions for use of the article Blephaclean sterile compresses Blephaclean sterile compresses are ready-to-use compresses for gentle cleansing of the eyelids, eyelid margins and eyelashes. The compresses are impregnated with a micellar lotion which also contains hyaluronic acid as well as herbal extracts of Iris florentina and Centella asiatica. These compresses are particularly suitable for sensitive skin and eyelids, for removing dust, pollen, secretions and make-up, as well as for inflammation of the eyelids. Blephaclean contains no preservatives and no additional fragrances. It has been tested under dermatological and ophthalmological control and is also suitable for children from 3 months of age. It is easy to use and requires no special training. To use, open the packaging and unfold the compress. The compress is wrapped around the index finger and gently placed on the closed eyelids and the base of the eyelashes. With circular movements, any crusts, secretions or make-up can be removed. Afterwards, the lower edge of the eyelid can be cleaned with the compress. No rinsing is necessary after application. The lotion contains capryloylglycine, sodium hyaluronate, PEG 8, poloxamer 184, polysorbate 20, propylene glycol, hydrocotyl extract, sebum-regulating complex, alcohol and water. The dosage depends on the application. Before eye surgery, Blephaclean is used twice daily for five days. In other cases, it is recommended twice daily for three weeks and then once daily for three months.
