Dosage

To use Systane Lid Wipes, rub the unopened individual packaging between your fingers to create foam.Close your eyes and gently stroke the pad over the eyelid several times.Repeat the process with a fresh pad on the other eye.Then wash both eyes with clean, warm water and pat dry.

Application of warm compresses

If possible, heat water to around 40 degrees twice a day, in the morning and evening.Dip a clean cloth or cotton pads into the warm water and place on closed eyelids for five minutes.New pads or a clean cloth should always be used to prevent the transfer of bacteria.The warm compresses help to liquefy the hardened fat in the eyelid glands.

Massage the eyelids

After applying warm compresses, gently massage the eyelids towards the edge of the eyelid with clean fingers or cotton swabs.The upper eyelid is massaged from top to bottom and the lower eyelid is massaged from bottom to top.

Cleaning the eyelid edges

Carefully clean the edge of the eyelid with moist compresses or cotton swabs.Do not use soap or shampoo.
