Vliwasorb Pro is a super absorbent dressing pad for the treatment of moderately to heavily exuding wounds. It is individually sterile packed and has a size of 22x22 cm (wound pad: 18x18 cm). The dressing can be used on various types of wounds, such as pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, post-operative secondary healing wounds, post-traumatic wounds, split skin donor sites, oncological wounds, exulcerating tumours, wounds at risk of infection and 2nd degree superficial burns. It can also be used as a secondary dressing on laparotomy wounds and fistulas. The dressing has a high absorption and binding capacity for wound exudate and allows effective exudate management even under compression. The ergonomic design allows good conformability to the wound, while the flexible wound contact layer enables atraumatic dressing changes. A blue protective underwear layer protects clothing and bedding. The dressing should not be cut. The dressing is made of polyethylene, polypropylene, cellulose, polyethylene terephthalate, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer and polyacrylate.
