Instructions for use of the product Wortie Against Warts and Plantar Warts with Applicator: Wortie is a product for icing warts and plantar warts. It works by selectively icing the wart while protecting surrounding areas of skin. The wart disappears within 10 to 14 days as it gradually falls off and is replaced by new, healthy skin. Wortie is easy to apply and ready to use immediately. It has a unique precision applicator that delivers the icing with pinpoint accuracy. The treatment is usually painless and one application is usually enough to successfully remove the wart. If necessary, the application can be repeated after 14 days. Before application, it may be helpful to soak the wart in warm water to facilitate penetration of the callus. Wortie contains the active ingredient dimethyl ether. Wortie can be used on children from 4 years of age. There are some precautions to be observed and possible side effects such as temporary whiteness of the treated area and blistering under the wart. Wortie should not be used if the rotary head is stuck, in children under 4 years of age, on the face or areas of skin close to the face, and in other specific cases. Use should be avoided in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient. Dosing is done by applying the frozen metal tip to the wart for 20 seconds (hand) or 40 seconds (foot).
