Application and dosage

A dose of 1 g (equivalent to the volume of half a protective cap) of Regaine® Women's Foam should be applied to the affected scalp area once daily with your fingertips.The dose of 1 g of foam per day should not be exceeded, regardless of the size of the affected scalp area.

Children and adolescents under 18 years of age should not use the product as there are no results on effectiveness and safety from controlled clinical studies for this age group.

To open the container, place the arrows on the can and protective cap in a line on top of each other.Then the protective cap is removed.The container is held vertically downwards with the spray head.By activating the spray head, an amount of foam equal to the volume of half a protective cap is sprayed onto the hand or onto a smooth, flat bowl or saucer.The amount of foam should not exceed the volume of half a protective cap.

The foam may melt quickly when it comes into contact with warm skin.If your fingers are warm, they should be rinsed with cold water beforehand.Before using the foam, dry your hands carefully.

Especially if you have long hair, it may be necessary to part the hair several times in order to apply the foam to the scalp.It is therefore a good idea to spray the foam onto a smooth, flat bowl or saucer.

To do this, the hair is parted in the thinned area so that the foam can be distributed over as large a part of the scalp as possible.A sufficient amount of the foam is distributed onto the affected areas of the scalp with the fingertips and gently massaged in, starting from the back of the head towards the front of the head.

The hair is parted at least twice more on each side from the middle parting and the remaining foam is distributed as described above until all the foam is used up.

After applying the foam, wash your hands and any bowl/saucer you may have used to avoid accidental contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

The can is closed after each use by putting the protective cap back on the container.This protects it from access by children.After applying Rogaine Women's Foam, the hair can be styled and styled as usual.However, to avoid Rogaine Women's Foam being washed off, the scalp should not be moistened for about 4 hours.

Generally, once daily treatment for 3 months is required before any effect is seen.To maintain the effect, it is recommended to continue once daily use continuously.No better result will be achieved if Regaine Women is used in larger quantities or more often than once a day.There is currently sufficient clinical experience about the effectiveness of the foam in women when used for up to 52 weeks.If the desired treatment success is not achieved within 6 months, therapy should be discontinued.

Active ingredients and ingredients

1 g of foam Rogaine women's foam contains 50 mg of minoxidil.

Other ingredients: ethanol, butylated hydroxytoluene (E321), lactic acid, citric acid, glycerol, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, purified water, propellants: propane/butane/2-methylpropane.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.Treatment should not be given to patients with evidence of cardiovascular disease or cardiac arrhythmias and to hypertensive patients, including those treated with antihypertensive drugs.

Consistency leads to success!Long-term use is crucial because the hereditary predisposition, which is the cause of hereditary hair loss, cannot yet be eliminated with any preparation.The positive effect of the therapy only lasts as long as Rogaine® is used for women.As soon as the application is stopped, the stimulation of hair growth also stops and within 3 - 4 months the condition that would have occurred without treatment will return.

It may happen that 2 - 6 weeks after the start of treatment, an increasing number of old, inactive hairs fall out.However, since these are being replaced by new, stronger hair, this is no cause for alarm.This phenomenon is called the “shedding effect” and subsides after a few weeks and is a sign of a positive response to treatment with Rogaine® for women.

Increased regrowth of new, stronger hair can be expected between the 12th and 16th weeks of treatment.
