Amflee® is a medicine for the treatment of flea and tick infestations as well as hair lice in dogs. It contains the active ingredient fipronil and has a long-lasting effect of up to 8 weeks against fleas and up to 4 weeks against ticks. Amflee® can also be used to control flea allergy dermatitis. It is available in different dosages, depending on the weight of the dog. It is applied by applying the solution to the dog's skin. There are some restrictions on use, e.g. do not use in puppies under 2 months of age, sick animals or animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient. The medicine may cause mild side effects such as increased salivation. It should be avoided that the animal licks the solution.
