Information for use on the article Fixation bandage cohesive elastic 4cm x 20m: - Product characteristics: The fixation bandage consists of white carrier material, has an elongation of approx. 100% and adheres only to itself. It is skin-friendly, air-permeable and economical to use. Thanks to its slip resistance, it is ideal for bandages on moving parts of the body. The bandage contains 50% cotton, 50% polyamide and latex. - Examples of use: The bandage is used for the fixation of wound dressings and for the aftercare of sprains. It is intended for external use but must be sterilised by a validated procedure before contact with open wounds. - Normative and legal requirements: The fixation bandage meets the requirements of MPG and Directive 93/42/EEC. It is classified as a Class I, Rule 4 medical device and has been tested according to the Annex VII of the conformity assessment procedure. The CE-marking is applied to all packaging stages and the packaging complies with DIN EN ISO 15223-1. The bandage does not contain any dangerous toxic substances according to REACH.
