It is used within the framework of neural therapeutic principles of application. The active substance in this medicine is procaine hydrochloride. It contains 20 mg of procaine hydrochloride per ml of solution for injection. Certain precautions should be observed before using Pasconeural Injektopas 2% 2 ml. It should not be used if you are allergic to procaine, other ester-type local anaesthetics, sulphonamides, benzoic acid or other components of the medicine. It should not be injected into arteries, around the central nervous system or into the spinal canal. People with muscle weakness, cardiac conduction system disorders, heart muscle weakness or inflamed areas should be aware that special precautions may be required. The dosage of Pasconeural Injektopas 2% 2 ml varies according to individual cases and should always be given according to the doctor's instructions. It is normally used by a doctor and the smallest effective dose should be used. Depending on the area of application, the maximum recommended dose may be between 200 mg and 500 mg of procaine. In the case of certain pre-existing conditions, the dose should be reduced by one third. People with impaired liver or kidney function should use a lower dose range. Pasconeural Injektopas 2% 2 ml is injected intracutaneously into the skin and should only be performed by persons with appropriate knowledge.
