Vitamin A is a food supplement that is important for maintaining normal skin and mucous membranes and for the visual process. It also contributes to normal immune system function and iron metabolism. The vitamin A contained is in the form of retinyl acetate and is converted by the body into retinol. Unlike plant carotenoids, the storage form of vitamin A is found exclusively in animal foods. The product is free from unnecessary additives, lactose, gluten, artificial colourings, trans fats and hydrogenated fats as well as separating agents and coatings. The recommended intake is 1 capsule per day with a meal. The product should be kept out of the reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place. It does not contain any allergenic ingredients. The recommended daily dose corresponds to NRV (recommended daily dose according to the Food Information Regulation) and is 800 mg vitamin A.
