Wobe-Mucos is a food for special medical purposes used to support oncological patients during and after chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy. It contains an enzyme combination of papain, trypsin and chymotrypsin. Taking Wobe-Mucos can help to reduce the side effects of the therapy and improve the quality of life. It is recommended to take 4 tablets 3 times a day during therapy and to reduce to 2 tablets 3 times a day after therapy is completed. The tablets should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid, at least 30 minutes before or 90 minutes after a meal. Wobe-Mucos contains enzymes from papaya and is free from gluten, sugar, colourings and lactose. The simultaneous use of medicines that affect blood clotting should only be done under medical supervision. It is important to note that Wobe-Mucos is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
