Directions for use of the medicine Calcium D3 Puren 1000 mg/880 I.U. Chewable tablets: - For the prophylaxis and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency in elderly people. - Supportive treatment of osteoporosis (bone loss) with calcium and vitamin D. - Do not take in case of allergy to the ingredients, high calcium blood level (hypercalcaemia), increased calcium excretion in the urine (hypercalcuria) or other specific diseases. - Caution with long-term therapy, kidney problems, heart problems and certain medicines. - Not suitable for children and adolescents. - Follow the dosage instructions and take the chewable tablets chewed. - Possible side effects are nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, skin rash and increased calcium levels. - In case of overdose or missed dose, consult a doctor. - Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and observe the expiry date. - Further information on ingredients and manufacturer is available in the package leaflet. - If side effects occur, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist and, if necessary, contact the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices. - Calcium D3 Puren does not affect your ability to drive or use machinery.
