OMNi-LOGiC Apple Pectin is a food supplement that contains valuable dietary fibre for intestinal bacteria. A healthy intestinal flora consists of the bacteria groups Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes in an optimal ratio to each other. In overweight people, however, an imbalance can occur in which the Firmicutes strongly predominate. The Firmicutes have the ability to break down indigestible food components such as dietary fibre and convert them into easily digestible carbohydrates. This can result in an additional calorie intake of up to 200 calories per day. OMNi-LOGiC Apple Pectin provides sufficient apple pectin for the Bacteroidetes bacteria to promote their proliferation and settle in the body in a sustainable manner.
