RC-Chamber is an inhalation aid for children aged 1-5 years used in metered dose inhalation therapy for bronchial asthma and cystic fibrosis. It optimises inhalation and removes large particles, reduces deposits in the mouth and throat and prevents irritation due to evaporative cooling. The RC-Chamber eliminates the need to coordinate between inhalation and triggering the burst of spray. Instead, the spray is simply delivered into the chamber and the medication enters the airway directly through the mouthpiece. The RC-Chamber comes with a removable and replaceable mask and is intended for single-patient use only. It can be used for bronchial asthma, cystic fibrosis and chronic bronchitis.
