Tonsillopas is a homeopathic medicine suitable for use in adults and children aged one year and over.It is used for inflammation of the throat, with the areas of application being derived from the homeopathic medicines.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredients in Tonsillopas include Baptisia tinctoria D1, Hydrargyrum bicyanatum D8, Ammonium bromatum D4, Kalium chloratum D2, Kalium bichromicum D4 and Apisinum D6.Additionally, the medicine contains ethanol, with approximately 30 mg of alcohol per 5 drops.This medicine is lactose-free, sugar-free and gluten-free.

Contraindications

Tonsillopas must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients mentioned.Alcoholics should also not use the product.If symptoms persist for a long time, are unclear or new, a doctor should be consulted.

Dosage

In acute conditions, adults and children aged 12 and over can take 5 drops every half to an hour, but no more than 6 times a day.In chronic forms, the dosage is 5 drops 1 to 3 times a day.Children between 6 and 12 years of age receive no more than two-thirds of the adult dose, while infants up to 6 years of age receive no more than half of the adult dose.The medicine should not be used for longer than one week without medical advice.

Notes

Tonsillopas contains 25% alcohol by volume.The amount in 5 drops is equivalent to less than 1ml of beer or 1ml of wine and has no noticeable effects.The medicine should not be used in children under one year of age as there is no adequately documented experience.There are no known interactions with other medicines.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product should only be taken after consulting a doctor.
