Directions for use of the article Ibuprofen AbZ 400 mg acute film-coated tablets for pain: Ibuprofen AbZ 400 mg akut Film-Coated Tablets contain the active substance ibuprofen and are used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain such as headache, toothache, period pain and fever. The dosage depends on weight and age. For children aged 6 to 9 years the single dose is 1/2 tablet, for children aged 10 to 11 years 1/2 tablet and for adolescents aged 12 years and over and adults 1/2 to 1 tablet. The maximum daily dose is 3 film-coated tablets. The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid. The duration of use should not exceed 3 days for fever and 4 days for pain. In case of prolonged use or worsening of symptoms, medical advice should be sought. In special cases such as pregnancy, breast-feeding or with certain diseases, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. Possible side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness or skin reactions. Watch out for possible overdose symptoms and seek medical help immediately if you suspect an overdose. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date.
