Description

This herbal medicine is used for diarrheal diseases.It is used to treat non-specific acute diarrhea.It is important that, in addition to taking the medication, attention is also paid to balancing fluids and electrolytes.If diarrhea lasts longer than two days or is accompanied by blood or fever, a doctor should be consulted.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The medicine contains 40 mg of uzara root dry extract, the extractant being 60% methanol.The following excipients are included: calcium carbonate, dextrin, glucose syrup, locust bean seed flour, lactose 1-water, magnesium oxide, magnesium stearate, montan glycol wax, native castor oil, sucrose, shellac, colloidal silicon dioxide, talc, titanium dioxide and wheat starch.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to uzara root dry extract, wheat starch or any of the other ingredients.Its use is also contraindicated during simultaneous treatment with certain heart medications (cardiac glycosides), magnesium deficiency (hypomagnesemia), potassium deficiency (hypokalemia), pregnancy and breastfeeding.Infants and young children should not receive the medicine.

Dosage

Always take the medicine exactly as described or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.For adults and children aged 12 and over, the recommended dose is five coated tablets on the first day of treatment.On the following days, three to six tablets can be taken daily, although the maximum daily dose must not exceed six tablets.Children aged 6 to 11 years should take three tablets on the first day and then two to three tablets daily, without exceeding the maximum daily dose of three tablets.It should be used until the symptoms subside, but not longer than seven days.

Intake

The medicine is intended to be taken orally.Take the tablets with enough liquid, such as a glass of water.It can be taken regardless of meals.

Patient information

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking if you suffer from cardiac conduction disorders or are receiving intravenous calcium treatment.The maximum daily dose should not be exceeded to avoid cardiac arrhythmias.The results of certain blood tests may be affected by taking the medicine.There are no sufficient studies available for children under 6 years of age, so the medicine should not be used at this age.Effects on the ability to drive and use machines are not known, but side effects could affect the ability to react.

Pregnancy
