Directions for use of Vidisan eye drops: Vidisan eye drops are suitable for soothing irritated eyes. They contain extract from eyebright (Euphrasia) and provide additional moisturisation through povidone. Vidisan is well tolerated and can be used long-term without becoming habituated. It is easy to use: twist off the cap of the dropper bottle, tilt the head slightly backwards, hold the bottle vertically over the eye and put one drop into the conjunctival sac. Close the eye and move it slightly back and forth to distribute the liquid optimally. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated on the other eye. Vidisan has no habituation effects and contains a pale yellow colour thanks to the eyebright extract. The ingredients include povidone, eyebright extract, benzododecinium chloride, polysorbate, boric acid, sodium chloride and sodium hydroxide. Vidisan is adapted to the pH of the tear fluid. The package leaflet contains further information. Vidisan eye drops are particularly suitable for people with irritated eyes due to external influences such as smoke, wind or dust particles. They help with symptoms such as tearing, burning, itching and sensitivity to light. In addition, there are some tips for relieving irritated eyes, such as sufficient fluid intake, avoiding smoke and using low-irritant cosmetics. Vidisan eye drops are also suitable for VDU work and should be removed before use for contact lens wearers. The opened dropper bottle should be used within 6 weeks.
