HYLO-VISION® Gel sine eye drops have been specially developed for people with severe and chronic dryness in the eyes.These eye drops contain 0.3% hyaluronic acid and provide intensive moisturization of the eye surface.The highly viscous consistency ensures a long-lasting, stable film of moisture that effectively relieves symptoms.The eye drops are ideal for nighttime use and are particularly practical for on the go, as the resealable one-dose containers can be used up to 12 hours after opening.They are also ideal for contact lens wearers as they can significantly improve wearing comfort.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

The hyaluronic acid contained in HYLO-VISION® Gel sine moisturizes the surface of the eye in a similar way to natural tears.Since this substance also occurs in the tear film and inside the eye, it is particularly well tolerated.Hyaluronic acid has a high water-binding capacity and is viscoelastic and mucoadhesive, which means that it adheres well to the surface of the eye.As a result, HYLO-VISION® Gel sine provides an even, stable and long-lasting moisture film that protects and moisturizes the surface of the eye.

The ingredients of HYLO-VISION® Gel sine are sodium hyaluronate (0.30%), sodium chloride, sodium monohydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Before using HYLO-VISION® Gel sine, you should wash your hands thoroughly.Separate a single-dose container from the bar and check that it is undamaged.To open, twist off the flat end of the container.Tilt your head back slightly, pull the lower eyelid slightly away from the eye with your free hand and instill 1 to 2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye.Be careful not to touch the container with your fingers.Close your eyes slowly to allow the eye drops to spread evenly over the surface of the eye.The one-dose container should be closed again after opening and can then be used for another 12 hours.

When using with contact lenses, you can apply 1 to 2 drops to each contact lens before inserting or apply the eye drops while wearing the contact lenses.A single single-dose container must not be used by multiple people.

Notes

Leftovers in an opened container should be disposed of.Because there are no preservatives, reuse should be avoided.A damaged container should also be discarded and not used.

HYLO-VISION® Gel sine eye drops are suitable for use in adults and adolescents.Pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as small children should consult an ophthalmologist before use.After use, visual acuity may be temporarily impaired, so you should not drive or use machines until normal visual acuity returns.Immediately after taking the drop, temporary symptoms such as a slight burning sensation in the eyes may occur.

The eye drops are well tolerated and suitable for long-term use.However, if the symptoms persist or recur frequently, you should consult an ophthalmologist to rule out other illnesses that require treatment.In the case of additional local treatment, there should be an interval of around 30 minutes between applications.In this case, the HYLO-VISION® Gel sine eye drops should be used after the other product.
