Instructions for use for GELIFEND Vaginal gel, 7X5 ml

Gelifend Vaginal Gel is a medical product that regulates the natural pH of the vagina through the active ingredients lactic acid and glycogen it contains. It is recommended to use the gel to support the natural balance of the vaginal flora and reduce recurring symptoms. It is also suitable for the prevention of symptoms after general immune deficiency, antibiotic therapy or treatment of a vaginal fungus. It is applied over a period of 7 days, using one tube per day. The gel can also be used during pregnancy. It may cause slight burning in the vagina, but this is temporary. It is recommended to read the package leaflet and consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Gelifend was recommended to me by my gynaecologist because I often get bacterial vaginal infections and have noticed an unpleasant odour.
