Directions for use of the article Visine Yxin Hydro 0,5 mg/ml eye drops. Visine Yxin Hydro 0.5 mg/ml eye drops contain the active substance tetryzoline hydrochloride. They are used for the temporary decongestion of the mucous membrane in non-infectious eye irritations. This can be irritation caused by smoke, dust, wind, chlorinated water, light or allergies such as hay fever with eye involvement. The medicine is suitable for adults, adolescents and children over 6 years of age. Children from 2 years of age and under 6 years of age should only be treated after consulting a doctor. Visine Yxin Hydro must not be used if you are allergic to tetryzoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients, in glaucoma and in children under 2 years of age. Consult your doctor before use if you have severe cardiovascular disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia, metabolic disorders, rhinitis sicca, keratoconjunctivitis sicca or glaucoma. If eye irritation or redness, eye pain, blurred vision, headache or other serious symptoms persist or increase, you should stop taking the medicine and consult a doctor. Visine Yxin Hydro should be used as described in the package leaflet. The dosage varies depending on the age of the patient. Contact lenses should be removed before use and only reinserted after 15 minutes. Possible side effects include increased blood flow, burning of the mucous membrane, dryness of the mucous membrane, eye irritation and deterioration of vision.
