Directions for use of the article Artelac Nighttime Eye Gel: - Artelac Nighttime Eye Gel contains 2 mg of carbomer, medium-chain triglycerides, water for injection, sorbitol and sodium hydroxide as ingredients. - Cetrimide is used as a preservative. - The gel provides intensive moisturisation and protection at night. - It can be used for all forms of dry eyes, either alone or as a supplement to thin eye drops. - The carbomer binds moisture in the tear film and the lipids reduce evaporation. - The gel should be used in the evening before going to bed or in the morning after getting up. - It can also be used during the day, but may cause temporary blurred vision. - Contact lenses should be removed before use but can be reinserted 15 minutes after application. - The gel can be used for 6 weeks after opening. - The manufacturer of Artelac Nighttime Gel is Dr Gerhard Mann.
