The vaginal gel Papilocare is used for the prevention and supportive treatment of HPV-conditional lesions (ASCUS/LSIL). It contains natural ingredients and is hormone-free, paraben-free and fragrance-free. The gel forms a protective film and can be used together with condoms. It is applied with special disposable cannulas. It is recommended to discontinue the gel during menstruation and to continue the treatment for a period of 6 months. Possible side effects include irritation, but this is rare. The gel should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Papilocare revitalises the mucous membrane of the cervix, restores the balance of the vaginal flora and relieves burning and itching. It contains hyaluronic acid niosomes, ß-glucan niosomes, Centella asiatica phytosomes, Coriolus versicolor extract, Neem extract, BioEcolia and Aloe vera extract. It is produced by the manufacturer Dr. Pfleger Arzneimittel GmbH.
