Directions for use of the article Tonsillopas Drops: Tonsillopas Drops is a homeopathic medicine for the treatment of inflammation of the throat. The indications are derived from the homeopathic remedy pictures. It contains the active ingredients Baptisia tinctoria, Hydrargyrum bicyanatum, Ammonium bromatum, Kalium bichromicum, Kalium chloratum and Apisinum. The dosage for adults and children over 12 years of age is 5 drops every half to one hour for acute conditions, at most 6 times a day. For chronic conditions, 5 drops are recommended 1 to 3 times a day. For children between 6 and 12 years of age, two-thirds of the adult dose is recommended, and for infants up to 6 years of age, half of the adult dose is recommended. The duration of use should not exceed one week. The medicine should be kept away from heat and inaccessible to children. Side effects such as hypersensitivity, allergic dermatitis and increased oral saliva production may occur but should be treated by a doctor. Contraindications exist in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients and in infants under one year of age. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
