Instructions for use of the article ICHTHO VET Summer and pastern gel for horses: ICHTHO VET Summer and pastern gel is a cortisone- and antibiotic-free care product for horses. It provides intensive care for the skin and has a soothing effect on itching and chafing. The gel cares for irritated skin and supports skin regeneration. It is especially recommended to apply the gel already at the first rubbing, e.g. at the beginning of the mosquito season, to keep the coat and long hair of the horses beautiful. The gel can also be used for supplementary care in case of weeping skin inflammations in the fetlock bend. Before application, affected skin areas must be gently cleaned. The application recommendation is to apply the ICHTHO VET Summer and Fetlock Gel 1-2 times daily for at least 2 weeks. The gel should be applied directly to the affected skin areas. For hygienic reasons, the use of disposable gloves is recommended. The composition of the gel consists of Sodium Shale Oil Sulfonate, Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Carbomer and Sodium Hydroxide. Some precautions should be taken. The gel may cause skin irritation and severe eye irritation. It is harmful to aquatic organisms with long-term effects. Therefore, it should be kept out of the hands of children. In case of contact with the eyes, they should be gently rinsed with water for a few minutes and any contact lenses removed. If skin irritation occurs, medical advice should be sought. Medical attention should also be sought if eye irritation persists. The gel and container should be disposed of according to local/regional/national/international regulations.
